FRESH SECURITY BREACH IN AKURE AS GUNMEN ABDUCT TWO, SHOOT ONE IN ELEYOWO, ILU-ABO


Suspected bandits reportedly struck late last night in Eleyewo area of Ilu-Abo, Akure, abducting two residents and leaving another person injured by gunshot.

According to preliminary information gathered by OPIMA REALNEWS, the armed assailants invaded the community under the cover of darkness, creating panic among residents. During the attack, two individuals were forcefully taken to an undisclosed location, while one person sustained gunshot injuries.

The injured victim was said to have been rushed to a medical facility for treatment. The current condition of the victim could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.

Residents described the incident as alarming, noting that the latest attack has heightened concerns over security within the affected area and surrounding communities in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
