ADEBARE EXTENDS EID-UL-FITR GREETINGS, URGES UNITY AND PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE


The Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adebare Adeboye, has extended felicitations to Muslim faithful within the council area and beyond on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the chairman described Ramadan as a significant spiritual period characterised by reflection, sacrifice, discipline, and devotion to Almighty Allah.

He noted that the values of love, peace, tolerance, and generosity demonstrated during the fasting period are vital for strengthening unity and promoting sustainable development in society.

Adebare urged Muslims to sustain these virtues beyond the Ramadan season, emphasizing the importance of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and collective progress within the community.

He also prayed for the acceptance of their fasting, prayers, and acts of charity, while wishing them good health, peace, and prosperity.

The chairman further extended his best wishes for a joyful and peaceful Eid-ul-Fitr celebration to all Muslim faithful.
