KEHINDE AKINDELE JOINS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES RACE FOR ILE-OLUJI/OKEIGBO, ODIGBO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
Hon. Kehinde Akindele, popularly known as “Ogasmi,” has officially joined the race for the House of Representatives seat to represent the people of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency under the platform of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM).
A campaign graphic obtained online by Opima Realnews revealed Akindele’s political ambition, with the poster carrying the message of accountable leadership, inclusive development, and people-oriented representation.
Opima Realnews correspondence further confirmed the development through one of his media aides, Mr. Kazeem Olaitan, who affirmed that the former political aspirant is preparing to contest for the federal legislative position.
Hon. Akindele is no stranger to the political landscape of Ondo State. He previously served as a Special Adviser to a local government chairman and has remained active in grassroots politics over the years.
Political records also show that he once contested as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ondo State House of Assembly and had earlier aspired for the House of Representatives seat under the PDP before his latest political move to the APM platform.
Beyond politics, Kehinde Akindele has built a reputation in the constituency for his philanthropic activities and community support initiatives, which many residents say contributed to his growing popularity across parts of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo communities.
The campaign poster prominently displays the APM slogan, “Power to the People,” alongside messages promoting responsive leadership and development that benefits all residents of the constituency.
Political observers believe the entrance of Akindele into the race could further shape the political conversations within the federal constituency as preparations gradually begin ahead of future electoral activities.
