APC TO PRESENT TINUBU WITH CERTIFICATE OF RETURN AS 2027 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to officially receive the All Progressives Congress (APC) Certificate of Return and the party’s flag as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the presentation ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The event is expected to follow the nationwide collation of results from the APC presidential primary election conducted across the country.

Top leaders of the ruling party are expected to attend the ceremony, including APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), the National Working Committee (NWC), members of the National Assembly, and other party stakeholders.

The presentation of the certificate and party flag formally confirms President Tinubu as the APC’s flagbearer for the 2027 presidential election.

The development marks a significant step in the party’s preparations ahead of the next general election cycle, as political activities continue to gather momentum nationwide.
