AKINDOLIRE HAILS AIYEDATIWA OVER APPROVAL OF KEY ROAD PROJECTS IN ILE-OLUJI


The Ondo State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Olaolu Akindolire, has expressed appreciation to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for approving major road projects in Ile-Oluji, describing the development as a significant boost to infrastructure and economic growth in the community.

Akindolire joined residents and stakeholders of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area in welcoming the approval, which formed part of resolutions reached during the recent Ondo State Executive Council meeting.

The commissioner noted that the inclusion of Ile-Oluji among the beneficiaries of the latest infrastructure projects demonstrates the governor’s commitment to balanced development and the expansion of critical infrastructure across all parts of Ondo State.

Among the projects approved for the area are the construction of Ore-Òfé Road, which begins from Senator Tofowomo Junction and extends through Confidence Avenue, and the Oke-Alafia New Road, stretching from the historic Lófin Tree through the RCCG Cathedral to Arogun Junction.

Speaking on the approvals, Akindolire described the projects as strategic interventions that will improve transportation, stimulate economic activities, and enhance the living conditions of residents.

He commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his inclusive leadership and dedication to ensuring that communities across the state benefit from ongoing developmental initiatives.

According to him, the road projects will ease movement within the town, improve access to key areas, encourage investments, and support the long-term socio-economic development of the local government.

The commissioner added that the approvals reflect the administration’s commitment to delivering meaningful infrastructure projects that directly impact the lives of citizens.

He also urged residents of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo to continue supporting the state government, expressing confidence that the projects would be executed successfully and completed within the expected timeframe.

Akindolire joined other indigenes of the local government in thanking Governor Aiyedatiwa and members of the State Executive Council for approving the projects, describing the development as a major milestone in the community’s drive for growth and modernization.

The approved road projects are expected to improve connectivity, facilitate the movement of people and goods, and further strengthen Ile-Oluji’s position as a growing economic and development hub in Ondo State.
