HON. OYEBADE LATEEF CELEBRATES EMERGENCE OF AKEMO-ELECT OF BAMIKEMO LAND


The Supervisor for Works in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. Oyebade Lateef Adebayo, has congratulated the newly elected Akemo of Bamikemo Land, describing his emergence as a significant development for the people and the preservation of the community’s cultural heritage.

In a congratulatory message made available to Opima RealNews, Hon. Oyebade said the selection of the Akemo-elect reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership capacity, dedication to service, and commitment to the progress of the people of Bamikemo Land.

According to him, the emergence of the new traditional ruler is a well-deserved recognition of his longstanding contributions to the community and his reputation as a leader committed to unity, peace, and cultural preservation.

Hon. Oyebade expressed confidence that the Akemo-elect will use his new position to further strengthen harmony among residents while promoting sustainable growth and development across the community.

He also prayed for wisdom, strength, sound health, and divine guidance for the traditional leader as he prepares to assume the responsibilities attached to the revered stool.

The local government official noted that traditional institutions remain important pillars of governance and community development, especially within Yoruba society where royal fathers continue to play significant roles as custodians of culture, peacebuilding, and societal stability.
