Israel and Iran have signalled a pause in their latest military confrontation, offering a temporary reprieve from escalating tensions that have raised concerns across the Middle East and the international community.

The development follows a series of missile and air strikes exchanged by both countries over the past 24 hours, prompting renewed diplomatic efforts to prevent a broader regional conflict.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that Israel would hold off on further attacks against Iran for the time being, while warning that any future aggression from Tehran would be met with a strong response.

Lebanon Continues to Raise Regional Concerns

While direct exchanges between Israel and Iran appear to have paused, tensions remain high in Lebanon.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that military operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon would continue, citing security concerns and alleged violations of existing agreements.
