NECO ANNOUNCES NATIONWIDE RECRUITMENT OF EXAMINATION SUPERVISORS FOR 2026 EXERCISES


The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the recruitment of Examination Supervisors across Nigeria to support the administration of its major examination exercises in 2026.

According to the recruitment notice, successful applicants will be engaged on a temporary and paid basis to assist in the conduct of the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), and the National Gifted Examination (NGE).

The opportunity is open to qualified candidates from all states of the federation who possess the required educational qualifications and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Applicants are expected to hold at least a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), or a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution. Candidates should also possess strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage examination environments.

Successful supervisors will be responsible for overseeing examination activities at assigned centres, ensuring compliance with examination regulations, safeguarding examination materials, coordinating with invigilators and other stakeholders, and reporting any incidents or irregularities during the examination process.

NECO stated that the engagement offers participants an opportunity to gain professional experience in education and examination management while contributing to the credibility and integrity of Nigeria's examination system.

The position is classified as an ad-hoc engagement, with remuneration provided for services rendered during the examination period.
