AKINDOLIRE MOBILISES MASSIVE SUPPORT FOR APC CANDIDATE DAYO FADUYILE
Ahead of the Ondo South Senatorial District bye-election scheduled for June 20, Ondo State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Olaolu Akindolire, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and residents of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government to turn out in large numbers and support the party’s candidate, Professor Dayo Faduyile.
In a statement released ahead of the poll, Akindolire described the election as an important opportunity for the APC to consolidate its political strength in Ondo South while ensuring continued development and stronger representation for the senatorial district.
He expressed confidence in Professor Faduyile’s ability to effectively utilise the remaining tenure if elected, noting that the APC candidate possesses the capacity to represent the interests of the people and contribute meaningfully to the development of the district.
The commissioner stated that victory for the APC in the bye-election would further enhance government presence in communities across Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and other parts of Ondo South, adding that residents stand to benefit from more developmental projects and improved security initiatives.
Akindolire also pointed to the ongoing leadership of Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, stating that the administration remains committed to delivering governance and expanding the dividends of democracy to citizens across the state.
He commended party leaders, members, and supporters for their continued loyalty and commitment to the APC, acknowledging what he described as their steadfast support since the beginning of the current administration.
The commissioner further appreciated traditional rulers, community leaders, and key stakeholders across the local government area for their role in promoting peace, unity, and sustainable development within their communities.
He reaffirmed the importance of collective participation in the democratic process and encouraged eligible voters to come out on election day to exercise their civic responsibility.
The Ondo South Senatorial bye-election is expected to attract significant political attention as parties intensify campaigns ahead of Saturday’s vote.
