OTUNBA OLUWAPELUMI AKINSIKU HAILS HON. ADEBARE'S IMPACTFUL LEADERSHIP IN ILE-OLUJI/OKEIGBO

The Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. Adebare Adeboye, has continued to attract commendation over what observers describe as his impressive performance in office, with prominent stakeholder, Otunba Oluwapelumi Akinsiku, praising the chairman for redefining grassroots governance through impactful leadership and people-oriented development.

Speaking in a statement made available to Opima RealNews, Akinsiku described Adeboye as a leader whose administration has consistently demonstrated commitment to public service, infrastructural development, workers’ welfare, and policies designed to directly improve the lives of residents across communities within the local government.

According to him, one of the most remarkable aspects of Adeboye’s administration has been the chairman’s deliberate focus on staff welfare, noting that the local government workforce has enjoyed improved motivation and stronger institutional support under the current leadership.

He stated that the administration’s approach toward workers has contributed significantly to improved productivity and a more efficient local government system, adding that effective governance can only thrive when the workforce responsible for delivering public service is properly supported.

Akinsiku further noted that beyond workers’ welfare, the chairman has remained committed to improving the wellbeing of ordinary citizens through policies and interventions aimed at addressing the direct needs of residents across the local government area.

He said the administration has consistently prioritized governance that places people first, ensuring that development is not limited to political promises but translated into visible benefits for communities.

On infrastructure, he pointed to several developmental projects carried out under Adeboye’s leadership, particularly highlighting the construction and commissioning of the Obada Market in Okeigbo, which he described as a major economic boost capable of improving commercial activities and creating a better environment for traders.

According to him, the project reflects the chairman’s commitment to sustainable development and his understanding of the importance of infrastructure in driving economic growth at the grassroots level.

He also noted that several other infrastructural projects embarked upon by the administration have continued to improve public facilities while extending development to different communities within the local government.

Akinsiku praised the chairman’s accessibility and close relationship with residents, stating that unlike many public office holders who become disconnected after assuming office, Adeboye has maintained direct engagement with the people, listening to their concerns and responding to community needs.

He said this style of leadership has strengthened public confidence in the local government administration and demonstrated that governance can be effective when public office is driven by sincerity, accountability, and service.

Speaking further, Akinsiku described Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government under Adeboye’s administration as an emerging example of progressive grassroots governance in Ondo State, noting that the chairman’s developmental strides continue to position the council area for sustainable growth and long-term progress.

He added that the achievements recorded so far reflect a leadership style focused on leaving behind a lasting legacy of development rather than pursuing temporary political gains.

Residents and political observers within the local government have also continued to acknowledge the visible changes taking place across several sectors, with many describing Adeboye’s administration as one committed to building a future defined by progress, opportunity, and collective prosperity.

As developmental activities continue across Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo, stakeholders say the chairman’s administration remains a strong example of how effective grassroots leadership can serve as a foundation for meaningful community transformation and sustainable development.
