Investigators are said to be examining phone records and financial transactions as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle the network supporting the kidnappers. Authorities also disclosed that certain bank accounts linked to the suspects have been flagged and frozen to aid further investigations into the movement of funds.

Despite the arrests, security agencies noted that the principal suspects behind the abduction remain at large and are believed to be operating within forested areas.
