SENATOR SOLOMON ADEOLA UNVEILS 53 NEW PROJECTS ACROSS OGUN AS HE MARKS THREE YEARS IN OFFICE


Roads, Schools, Markets, Health Centres Among Projects Set for Commissioning Across Ogun State

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, representing Ogun West Senatorial District, has announced the completion of 53 constituency projects across Ogun State as he marks three years in the Senate.

The projects, which are spread across Ogun West, Ogun Central and Ogun East Senatorial Districts, include road construction and rehabilitation, classroom blocks, modern markets, primary healthcare centres, police stations, town halls and other community development initiatives.

According to the senator, commissioning of the projects will commence in the coming days, with stakeholders and beneficiaries expected to participate in the ceremonies across various communities.

In a statement released to commemorate his third anniversary in office, Adeola said the projects reflect his commitment to effective representation and grassroots development.

He noted that the interventions were designed to address critical infrastructure deficits, improve access to healthcare and education, stimulate economic activities and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.

Major Projects Across Ogun West

A significant number of the projects are located in Ogun West, covering local government areas such as Imeko-Afon, Yewa North, Yewa South, Ipokia and Ado-Odo/Ota.

The completed projects include several newly constructed and asphalted roads, ultra-modern markets, primary healthcare centres, police stations and multiple 12-classroom school blocks.

Notable projects in the district include the construction and rehabilitation of roads in Imeko-Afon, Ayetoro, Ilaro, Owode, Oke-Odan, Ipokia, Idiroko, Agbara, Ijoko and Sango-Ota.

Healthcare facilities have also been provided in communities including Atapele, Ijaka, Ilaro, Ota and Atan, while new markets have been delivered in Obada, Ayetoro, Iboro, Ilobi-Erinja, Oke-Odan, Agbara and Igbesa.

Infrastructure Development in Ogun Central

In Ogun Central Senatorial District, completed projects include the construction of an ultra-modern town hall in Ishaga, Abeokuta North, as well as road projects in Ibara-Orile, Kemta-Idiaba Estate and Mowe-Ibafo axis of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area.

A new Primary Healthcare Centre has also been completed in Ibara-Orile.

Road Projects Delivered in Ogun East

Residents of Ogun East are also set to benefit from newly completed road projects in Ijebu North and Ijebu Ode.

The projects include the construction and asphalting of Tarin Atikori Road, Oke Erefon Road, Oke Ola–Oke Agbo Road in Ijebu-Igbo, as well as Moghebelu Road in Ijebu Ode.

Commitment to Constituency Development

Senator Adeola stated that the projects form part of his ongoing efforts to deliver democratic dividends to constituents across Ogun State.

He reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining developmental initiatives and effective representation until the end of his current tenure in May 2027.

The senator expressed appreciation to community leaders, stakeholders and residents for their support, noting that collaborative efforts remain essential for continued progress and development across the state.
