ENGR. RAZAQ OBE ALLEGES INTERIOR MINISTER BUNMI TUNJI-OJO IS BEHIND ONDO APC CRISIS


Engineer Razaq Obe has alleged that the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is the principal figure behind the internal crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.

Speaking during an interview on Arise News TV on Tuesday morning, Obe claimed that Tunji-Ojo, who represents Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives before his ministerial appointment, resides in Abuja and comes from a politically influential family. He further alleged that the minister manipulated the National Chairman of the APC to advance his political interests.

According to Obe, the ongoing developments within the Ondo State chapter of the APC could have significant implications for the party's electoral prospects if the internal issues remain unresolved ahead of future elections.

"Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is the brain behind the Ondo APC problem. He lives in Abuja, has a political family, and manipulated the National Chairman of the party to his favour. If we approach the election with this development, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lose Ondo State gallantly," Obe said during the interview.

The remarks represent allegations made by Engineer Razaq Obe during the television interview. Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the APC leadership had not publicly responded to the claims as of the time of filing this report.
