HON. AKINFOLARIN AKINBUSOLA CALLS FOR APC UNITY AS ROTIMI AKINWAMIDE SECURES INEC NOMINATION


Hon. Akinfolarin Johnson Akinbusola (Florida), the Honourable Councillor representing Ward I and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Finance and IGR, Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, has congratulated Hon. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide (Rotimi Canada) on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency, following the successful collection of his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form.

In a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday, Hon. Akinfolarin described the development as a significant milestone for the party, saying it reflects the confidence and support Hon. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide enjoys among APC members and constituents. According to him, the nomination represents the collective decision of party stakeholders and supporters seeking experienced, people-oriented and result-driven representation.

He also commended the Governor of Ondo State and leader of the APC in the state, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for providing leadership throughout the party's nomination process, stating that the exercise demonstrated the party's commitment to its internal processes.

Hon. Akinfolarin further acknowledged the contributions of the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Olaolu Akindolire, for his continued support for the party. He equally appreciated the APC Chairman in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Jerome Olorunyolemi, as well as other party leaders, stakeholders and members for their commitment to strengthening the APC in the constituency.

Calling for unity ahead of the general election, the Ward I Councillor urged all APC members to set aside differences and work together in the interest of the party and the overall development of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency.

He expressed confidence that with the continued support of party faithful and residents of the constituency, Hon. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide would be well-positioned to seek victory at the polls and provide effective representation at the Ondo State House of Assembly.
