APC STAKEHOLDER CALLS FOR UNITY AMONG ONDO PARTY LEADERS AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS


A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Isaiah Oyawale, has appealed to leaders, stakeholders, and supporters of the party in Ondo State to embrace unity and reconciliation as preparations gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued from Ile-Oluji, Oyawale urged members of the party, particularly supporters of Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to put aside political differences and work together in the interest of the APC.

He noted that while party primary elections often generate differing opinions and intense competition, such disagreements should remain internal matters and should not be allowed to create lasting divisions within the party.

According to him, the primary election process has been concluded, making it necessary for party members to focus on strengthening the APC and consolidating the achievements of its leaders rather than dwelling on past disagreements.

Oyawale stressed that unity among party stakeholders would be crucial as the state moves closer to the 2027 general elections, adding that a united APC would be better positioned to secure electoral victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Assembly candidates, and other party flag bearers across Ondo State.

He called on Governor Aiyedatiwa, Minister Tunji-Ojo, their supporters, and other APC leaders to embrace dialogue, understanding, and peaceful coexistence for the overall progress of the party and the development of the state.

The APC member further stated that political history has consistently shown that united parties achieve greater success than those divided by internal disputes, urging members to place the collective interest of the party above individual ambitions.

He expressed optimism that with cooperation, mutual respect, and a shared vision, the APC would remain strong and continue to provide leadership and good governance for the people of Ondo State.
