AIYEDATIWA'S ACHIEVEMENTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN PROPAGANDA, SAYS OPOMULERO GROUP DG

The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori Michael, has dismissed recent allegations linking Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, to anti-party activities or an alleged alliance with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the claims as baseless and politically motivated.

In a statement made available to the media, Michael said the allegations were part of a deliberate campaign by political opponents to undermine the governor's growing popularity and impressive record of governance.

According to him, Governor Aiyedatiwa's achievements in infrastructure development, workers' welfare, education, healthcare, youth and women empowerment, security, rural development, and prudent management of public resources have earned him widespread support across Ondo State, leaving critics with little option but to spread what he described as unfounded narratives.

He also referenced the explanation earlier provided by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, noting that the Government House Chapel, like the mosque within the Government House, is a public place of worship open to people irrespective of political affiliation.

Michael maintained that attending religious services, receiving visitors, or exchanging greetings in places of worship should not be interpreted as evidence of political collaboration or anti-party activities.

He reaffirmed that Governor Aiyedatiwa remains a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has consistently demonstrated commitment to the unity, growth, and electoral success of the party in Ondo State.

The Opomulero Group further described the governor as one of the APC's strongest leaders in the South-West and a dependable ally of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that his support for the President's Renewed Hope Agenda remains unwavering.

Michael expressed confidence that Governor Aiyedatiwa possesses the leadership capacity and grassroots support needed to mobilise overwhelming votes for the APC during the 2027 general elections, predicting that the party would perform strongly across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State.

He alleged that those circulating the claims were attempting to create unnecessary tension within the APC because they recognised the governor's strategic importance to the party's future electoral prospects.

According to the statement, residents of Ondo State are more concerned with the delivery of democratic dividends than political propaganda, citing ongoing infrastructure projects, investments in education and healthcare, improvements in workers' welfare, and other government initiatives as evidence of the administration's performance.

The group therefore urged APC members, stakeholders, and residents of the state to disregard what it described as false allegations and continue supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa as his administration pursues its developmental agenda.

Michael concluded that no amount of political propaganda or sponsored falsehood would diminish public confidence in the governor, insisting that his administration remains focused on governance and committed to delivering more development projects across Ondo State.

The statement was signed by Hon. Olasupo Olakunori Michael, Director General of the Opomulero Group.
