ROTIMI CANADA PICKS UP INEC NOMINATION FORM, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO REPRESENT ILE-OLUJI/OKE-IGBO


Hon. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide, popularly known as Rotimi Canada, has officially obtained his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency ahead of the forthcoming Ondo State House of Assembly election.

The development marks another important step in his bid to represent the constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly, following his emergence as the APC candidate. With the nomination process advancing, Rotimi Canada said he remains committed to providing effective representation and pursuing initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents across the constituency.

Speaking after receiving the nomination form, the APC flagbearer expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State and leader of the party, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his leadership and efforts toward strengthening the APC in the state. He also acknowledged the support of the APC State Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Kolawole, party leaders, delegates, supporters, and the people of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo for the confidence they have placed in him.

Rotimi Canada stated that, if elected, he would prioritise legislation and advocacy that support infrastructural development, quality education, youth and women empowerment, agricultural growth, business development, and improved welfare for constituents.

He further assured residents that his campaign would be driven by unity, inclusiveness, and regular engagement with the people, stressing that their concerns and aspirations would remain central to his representation.

The APC candidate also urged party faithful and residents of the constituency to remain united and continue supporting the party, expressing optimism that collective efforts would pave the way for greater development and sustainable progress in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo.
