ONDO GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES THREE-HOUR MOVEMENT RESTRICTION FOR JULY 25


The Ondo State Government has announced that the July 2026 edition of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise will be held across the state on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

As part of the exercise, the government said the movement of persons and vehicles will be restricted between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to enable residents participate fully in the sanitation programme.

Residents have been urged to use the period to clean their homes and surroundings by clearing drainage channels, desilting gutters, removing refuse and debris, and cutting overgrown weeds to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and disease-free Ondo State and appealed to residents to cooperate with relevant authorities and actively participate in the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.

The announcement was contained in a statement e-signed by the Ondo State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Tob Loko, Ph.D., on July 23, 2026.
