OYO 2027: I DECLARED TO RUN FOR GOVERNORSHIP TO RESCUE OYO PEOPLE FROM SLAVERY – Oriyomi Hamzat


Popular broadcaster and philanthropist, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, has declared his intention to contest the Oyo State governorship election, describing his ambition as a rescue mission.


Hamzat said the people of Oyo State are suffering from economic hardship and governance failures, which he likened to modern-day slavery.


He promised inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and transparent leadership if elected.


His declaration has generated mixed reactions across political circles in the state.
