AIYEDATIWA APPOINTS DR. MANN ALI AS ONDO CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION CHAIRMAN

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mann Ali as the new Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission.

The governor also appointed Mr. Michael Oshodi as a member of the commission, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

The statement explained that both appointees are former Permanent Secretaries in the Ondo State Public Service and will fill vacancies created following the expiration of the five-year tenure of the former Chairman, Mr. Ajose Kudehinbu, and another commission member in June 2026.

Announcing the appointments, the state government said the decision forms part of efforts to ensure continuity and effective administration within the state's civil service.

It added that the appointments are subject to confirmation by a resolution of the Ondo State House of Assembly before they become effective.

Dr. Mann Ali is expected to lead the Civil Service Commission, while Mr. Michael Oshodi will serve as a member of the commission upon legislative confirmation.

The Ondo State Civil Service Commission is responsible for overseeing appointments, promotions, discipline, and other personnel matters relating to the state's civil service.
