CDCFIB RELEASES 2024/2025 RECRUITMENT SHORTLIST, SETS DATES FOR ORAL INTERVIEW


The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the completion of the assessment and shortlisting process for candidates who participated in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The Board made this known in a press release signed by its Secretary, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) A. M. Jibril, dated August 28, 2026.

According to the statement, candidates who participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening are required to check the official CDCFIB recruitment portal to determine whether they have been shortlisted for the final oral interview exercise.

Candidates who applied under the Graduate Category are expected to visit the official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng⁠�, from Monday, August 31 to Wednesday, September 2, 2026, to check their shortlisting status.

Similarly, candidates who applied with NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications are expected to access the same portal from Monday, September 7 to Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to check whether they have been shortlisted for the oral interview.

The Board stated that shortlisted candidates will be required to select a venue closest to them, choose an available date and time, and print their letters of invitation through the portal.

Candidates are also expected to appear at their selected venues strictly in the dress code specified in their invitation letters. The CDCFIB warned that only candidates who are officially shortlisted for the final exercise will be granted access to the interview venues.

The Board further clarified that it does not send recruitment-related emails, advising applicants to obtain all official information and updates through the recruitment portal and recognised communication channels.

The CDCFIB also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and cautioned applicants against individuals or groups demanding money in exchange for employment opportunities.

Applicants were advised to disregard any such demands and report persons soliciting payment for recruitment to the nearest security agency or appropriate authority.

The Board urged all candidates to carefully verify the official recruitment portal address and rely only on legitimate communication channels to avoid falling victim to fraudulent recruitment schemes.
