SEVEN ROUNDS, ONE CHAMPION: OREOFE TESTIMONY WINS PROSPER BIBLE RECITATION


Prosper Bible Institute has celebrated the successful conclusion of its Bible Recitation Competition 3.0 Grand Finale, with Olola Oreofe Testimony of St. Louis Grammar School, Ondo, emerging as the overall winner.

The grand finale featured seven rounds of Bible knowledge, accuracy, confidence and dedication, bringing together young participants who demonstrated their understanding and commitment to the study of Scripture.

Olola Oreofe Testimony, a JSS 2 student of St. Louis Grammar School, Ondo, emerged as the winner and received a cash prize of ₦100,000, in addition to an extra ₦10,000 cash prize donated by Toronto Consultant.

Gbile Favour, an SS 2 student in Ondo, emerged as the first runner-up and received ₦60,000, while Adesoji Inioluwa of Bensopex Comprehensive College, Ile-Oluji, placed second runner-up and received ₦40,000.

The institute expressed appreciation to the parents, guardians, pastors, teachers, churches, friends and members of the public who attended the grand finale and supported the participating teenagers.

According to the organisers, the support received from sponsors, well-wishers, partners and other contributors played an important role in making the competition possible.

The institute also acknowledged the contributions of the competition officials, judges, coordinators, volunteers, media team, the National Union of Ile-Oluji Students (NUIS) and others who contributed to the successful organisation of the event.

While congratulating all seven finalists for their preparation, discipline and courage, Prosper Bible Institute described the competition as part of its broader effort to encourage teenagers to engage with Scripture and develop their knowledge of the Bible.

The organisation has also announced plans to continue its youth-focused activities with the Prosper Bible Spelling Bee Competition 7.0 scheduled for next year.

As preparations begin, Prosper Bible Institute is appealing to individuals, organisations, businesses, churches and other well-meaning members of the public to support the upcoming competition through sponsorship and other forms of assistance.

The institute said such support would help sustain its programmes and provide opportunities for more teenagers to participate in educational and Scripture-based activities.

The Bible Recitation Competition 3.0 was held under the theme of empowering teenagers through Scripture, with the organisers expressing their commitment to continuing initiatives aimed at encouraging young people through knowledge, discipline and learning.

REPORTED CAR HIJACK ATTEMPT FOILED ON ONDO–ILE-OLUJI EXPRESSWAY A reported case of an attempted car hijacking occurred on Sunday along the popular Ondo–Ile-Oluji Expressway at Ota 'San in Ile-Oluji, Ondo State.
